We always recommend writing the appliance model number down on your user’s manual or purchase documentation. Then store this paperwork and all appliance-related documentation in a secure spot such.
We’ll ask you to locate your appliance model number when you schedule service. It is unique to your unit and the parts your unit uses. This allows us access to parts pricing which then allows us to give you an idea of what your repair will cost. The serial number contains specifics of the appliance unit, including date of manufacture. This number can also be found on the model number sticker.
